SoInSoGood is the result of a partnership between a French company - GROUPE SOS Pulse - and three local organisations - HKSTP, HKCYS and HKJC Charities Trust.
With its 15,000 employees and 480 structures, GROUPE SOS is one of Europe’s foremost social and societal undertakings. For over 30 years now, GROUPE SOS has been putting economic efficiency at the service of the interests of the general public. In so doing, it provides responses to the issues of today’s society by developing innovative solutions in its five main fields of activity. The actions undertaken by GROUPE SOS have an impact on 1.6 million beneficiaries every year.
Formerly known as Le Comptoir de l'Innovation, GROUPE SOS Pulse is the support and consulting structure of GROUPE SOS. Their objective is to enable the acceleration of projects with huge social or environmental impact, in France and abroad. To encourage the emergence of high-potential social enterprises, GROUPE SOS Pulse creates and co-manages incubators in France, in Africa, in America and in Asia.
The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) is the go-to organization in Hong Kong when it comes to enabling science and technology companies to nurture ideas, innovate and grow. With its top-notch R&D facilities, work spaces and consulting services, HKSTP provides tech entrepreneurs with a highly-conducive environment where they can turn ideas into tangible reality.
HKSTP has been supporting innovative entrepreneurs for over 13 years and has accompanied them in their startup and takeoff phases. As of today, HKSTP manages three high-level incubation programs: Incu-App, Incu-Tech and Incu-Bio.
Hong Kong Children & Youth Services (HKCYS) is a social agency covering a wide array of services, such as clinical psychological services, outreaching, foster care, after-school care, counseling for drugs abusers, etc.
HKCYS provides children and youth with guidance towards more positive lifestyles, enabling them to overcome their difficulties and hardships.
Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) is a world-class horse racing operator and Hong Kong’s largest community benefactor, as well as one of Asia’s most prestigious membership clubs. Operating as a not-for-profit organisation, the HKJC allocates its surplus for charitable and community projects through its Charities Trust.
Working with Government, non-governmental organisations and community partners, the Trust is committed to improving the quality of life of the people of Hong Kong, and providing immediate relief to those most in need. A philanthropic organisation in its own right, the Trust also proactively identifies and initiates projects that anticipate future community and social needs.
This two-fold project, "Jockey Club Social-Tech and Youth Entrepreneurship Programme", is generously funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust until 2019.
